Quick read: We use functional cookies/local storage plus privacy-friendly Vercel Web Analytics (always on). No advertising cookies. Third-party embeds (YouTube/Spotify), Google Fonts, and other providers may set or receive data—see their policies.
Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies and storage?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Local storage/session storage are similar browser storage mechanisms. We use them only for site functionality.
2. What we set
- Theme and UI preferences: Remember your light/dark choice and similar settings.
- Visit/cooldown flags: Track simple states like recent contact submissions to prevent spam and respect rate limits.
- Admin authentication: Session cookies for authorized users to access admin areas.
- Analytics and security logging: We use Vercel Web Analytics on every page. According to Vercel’s documentation, Web Analytics does not use cookies and provides anonymised, aggregate usage data (such as page views, referrers, device/browser type, country-level location, and bounce rate).
Separately, our hosting provider (Vercel) processes network and request data (such as IP addresses, user agents, request paths, ASN information, and JA4 fingerprints) for security, performance, abuse prevention, and firewall protection. - Embedded player state (YouTube/Spotify): Set by those providers when you interact with embeds.
- reCAPTCHA: We use Google reCAPTCHA on our newsletter signup form to prevent spam. This service may set cookies and collect information as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
3. What we do not set
No advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioral profiling cookies are set by us.
4. Third-party cookies
Embedded or linked services may set their own cookies or receive technical data when you use them. For example, YouTube or Spotify embeds may set cookies when you interact with players. Some services (such as Google Fonts or Vercel Web Analytics) do not set cookies but may receive technical information such as IP address or browser details. Their use is governed by their own policies; see the Privacy Policy for links.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking functional cookies may break features like theme preference, cooldown enforcement, or admin sign-in. Because we do not use advertising or non-essential tracking cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner.
6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the latest version.
